Every time I mock up a new website layout or design a UI element, I need filler text to see how it looks before the actual copy is written. Instead of leaving the site to hunt down a generator, I built this one right into the toolbox.
Lorem Ipsum is the industry standard because it looks like natural English. If you just mash your keyboard or copy/paste the word "test" fifty times, it visually throws off your design. This dummy text has a normal distribution of letters and spacing, which keeps the focus strictly on your layout and typography.
I wanted to keep it simple. If you need a huge block of text for a blog template, just generate a few paragraphs. If you only need a quick headline, switch the dropdown to generate just a few words. Hit generate, copy the text, and drop it straight into your project.
